User names created before Nov 2001: first two letters of your first name followed by your last name.

Accounts created since Nov 2001: first letter of your first name followed by your last name

 First one or two characters of first name followed by characters of last name (max of 8 total characters) For faculty/staff: 5 character TechNet UserID includes initials 14 digit barcode number on your TTU ID or library card (PIN is usually last 4 of SSN) First name followed by a period, followed by last name
When to use it:

Logging into an office computer within our college.

Logging into our college intranet.

Whenever a website asks for 'eRaider' login. (Like the eRaider zone and eRaider POP mail.

On the SECOND screen / popup window when checking TechMail online.

 Accessing TechSIS screens Most library resources do NOT require a password. Access to some electronic resources is limited to TTU faculty, staff, and students only - these require a login userid / password.
