Borrowing Library Materials
Students participating in distance learning may borrow books and receive copies of journal articles owned by the TTU Libraries by using the Library Express service (15¢ per photocopied page). Books and articles not owned by the Libraries can be ordered through Interlibrary Loan. Books will be mailed to the requester, and articles will be delivered electronically. Students may also request a TexShare card that allows them to check out books from almost all libraries in Texas. For more information please contact Library Express at (806) 742-2245 or liexp@lib.ttu.edu and Interlibrary Loan at (806) 742-2239 or liill@lib.ttu.edu.

Many professors place articles, notes, and other course materials on E-Reserve for students to access via the Libraries’ Web page. For access to E-Reserve please visit http://www1.lib.ttu.edu/eres/.

Remote Access to Electronic Resources
Distance students can use many of the Libraries’ electronic resources from any Internet-connected off-campus computer. Some of these resources require typing in a 14-digit number found on their TTU ID (2 1295 xxxxx xxxx) and a PIN number (the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number). Please contact the Circulation Department at circ@lib.ttu.edu or (1-888-270-3369) to obtain a 14-digit number.
