Steps to Entry
  1. Review Admissions Steps for Postbac on the Certification Website. Follow these Admissions Steps to certification. (After opening New Application, then choose Supplimental)
  2. Submit the Master's Handbook application Master's Handbook application to:

    Lubbock, TX 79409
  3. Apply to Sowell Center grant-specific program for financial aid. Student must be a Texas resident to qualify.
    Reach Across Texas Program Application -- Specialization in Orientation and Mobility or Visual Impairments.
    Mail this form to:

Certification or Endosements Offered

We offer a Certification in Orientation and Mobility and an Endorsement in Visual Impairment at the graduate level.

NOTE! If you are designated as "Cert" (Certificate Seeking) as your degree status with the Graduate School, you need to be aware that you can only apply 12 hours of classes towards a degree. Please watch this limit if you are considering applying to a degree program. If you decide to change to degree seeking from Cert, you can simply reapply to Tech and mark "degree seeking (Master's or Doctoral)" on the Returning Student Application. You can request this form from the Graduate School at (806)742-2781 or download the form from the Graduate School website (go to Admissions > Download Application Forms and Information > Application Form for Returning Students)
