Jean Durrett
Short Biography
Jean Durrett is a part-time instructor in science education. She holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University and a M.Ed. in Education from Texas Tech University. Jean is retired from a 32-year teaching career in Lubbock ISD and a 12-year career as author and instructor for Science 6,7, and 8 in Extended Studies at Texas Tech.
Professional Interests
Jean Durrett’s professional interest involves working with university students who plan to be teachers. She is dedicated to helping students understand science methods and developing a life-long love for science education.
