Cathy Box

Short Biography

Cathy Box is a full-time Instructor in the Science and Mathematics program in the College of Education at TTU and teaches secondary math and science methods and curriculum courses, elementary science methods courses, and supervises student teachers.  She has earned a B.S. in Education and an M.S. in Multidisciplinary Science from Texas Tech University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Science Education. 

Professional Interests

Cathy Box’s research interest involves the use and effectiveness of formative assessment strategies in the science classroom.
