Bibi Ganesh
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Bibi Ganesh has earned a Bachelor of Education with emphasis on Mathematics from the University of the West Indies, and a Master of Education with emphasis on Mathematics and Science Education from Texas Tech University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Mathematics and Science Education. Bibi is a graduate part-time instructor in elementary math methods courses.
PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS
Bibi’s current research interests are focused on multiculturalism in the classroom, development of geometric spatial understanding in males and females, and the use of literature in the teaching of mathematics in the elementary school. She is collaborating with Dr. Jennifer Wilhelm, Sonya Sherrod, and Junlong Ji in the development of an instrument for measuring geometric spatial ability.
