This is the personal page of James Gallagher, a deafblind individual. James established this site to try and offer some help to Blind or deaf people, and especially deafblind people, and those who provide specialised services for those who are deafblind. Within this website you will be able to learn the Deafblind Manual Alphabet and, the Two-Handed Manual Alphabet used by sighted Deaf people. Its up to you where you wish to go. If you wish to learn the Deafblind Manual Alphabet then there are pages on this website for you to do so.

The Fred's Head Database is a source of tips and techniques for and by blind or visually impaired individuals.

BLIST: The Comprehensive Index of Blindness-Related Emailing Lists

This site contains instructions on how to join over two hundred blindness-related emailing lists and blindness-related newsgroups, along with hypertext links which allow you to subscribe to any of the lists. It also contains an extensive listing of accessibility and pan-disability lists, as well as a list of emailing lists that are not blindness-related, but which are frequented by blind members, and a selective list of emailing list-related resources.

BVI-Parents Mailing List

This is a list where parents of blind and visually impaired children can come to find information and support. The list membership is comprised mostly of parents, but there are some professionals and blind individuals on the list as well.

This site answers questions about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, keeps you informed about ideas, and supports efforts to help all children learn, progress, and realize their dreams.

Lions World Services for the Blind

This is the web site of Lions Club International which provides a variety of services for the blind and visually impaired including social services, vocational evaluation, vocational training, and assistive technology training.
