The purpose of this web site is to promote quality literacy instruction for students with visual impairments by providing information and resources for parents, teachers, and school administrators.  This site was developed by Texas Tech University, College of Education, Virginia Murray Sowell Center for Visual Impairment.  Funding for this project was provided by a grant from the United States Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services.
