From December to February 1st, the College of Education takes applications for scholarship awards. In 2004-05, the College of Education Human Resources Committee received 138 applications and selected 51 students to receive $29,100.00 in awards. Amounts varied from $300 to $2,000 per scholarship.

Students receiving scholarships this year had accumulative GPA's ranging from 2.85 to 4.0. These students represented hometowns all over Texas and several from other states and countries. Other scholarships and financial aid is also available through university scholarships, grants and financial aid administered by the TTU Financial Aid Office.

Each award was distributed according to criteria established by the donor. Criteria may include academic achievement, financial need, specific area of study, university & community service and availability of funds.
