Gerald Parr
Educational Preparation
Gerald Parr has a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado.
He received the Texas Tech President's Excellence in Teaching Award, the Texas Counseling Association's Professional Writing Award, and was the recipient of the West Texas Counseling Association's Friend of Counseling Award.
Dr. Parr is a licensed psychologist, a licensed professional counselor, and a school psychologist.
In addition to being a professor, he has held positions as a science/math teacher, a school counselor, a department chair, and associate dean. He has served as a consultant to agencies and schools on case management, test interpretation, and ED assessments.
He is currently a professor in Counselor Education.
