Assistant Dean Retires after Being in Schools and Universities 49 Years (Minus Twins and Dissertation at the Same Time)
After a long career of teaching all types of secondary and college writing, American Literature and humanities, as well as serving as Director of Student Affairs in Kentucky and Assistant Dean in the College of Education, she is retiring to her Kindle Fire, ESL instruction, and continued writing of educational materials for Innovative Academic Solutions--maybe even a part time job. Elementary Social Studies Methods Pre-service Teachers Embrace Alternative Learning Activities
The most successful field trips meet two criteria: they are fun and they are also educational. This semester the social studies methods students got first-hand experience organizing and hosting field trips for grades Pre-K through fourth at Bozeman Elementary. These field trips extended the social study curriculum learning that was begun in the classroom. (Please continue.)

One of our newest staff members, Louise Nelson, Unit Assistant Director, Grant Coordinator, has a very interesting way of spending her personal time. She has a master's degree in management information systems, so she works in a family business called Parallel Solutions Inc., which she and her son, Ben Nelson, developed about 24 months ago.
