College of Education Prospective Students Awarded Prestigious Chancellor’s Fellowship

 

 

 

The College of Education is happy to announce that four students have been awarded an AT&T Chancellor’s Endowed Fellowship to pursue either a Master’s degree or a doctoral degree in the College of Education, an honor given to outstanding prospective students of Texas Tech University. 

 

As a Master’s student, the amount of the award is $6,000 ($3,000 per year for two academic years), to be disbursed at a rate of $1,500 per semester as a scholarship paying tuition and fees first, with any remaining balance issued to the student by Student Business Services (SBS). In addition, this award will waive out-of-state tuition for the award years and does not require any service to the university.

 

As a Doctoral student, the amount of the award is $16,000 ($4,000 per year for four academic years), to be disbursed at a rate of $2,000 per semester as a scholarship paying tuition and fees first, with any remaining balance issued to the student by Student Business Services (SBS). In addition, this award will waive out-of-state tuition for the award years and does not require any service to the university.

De Ann Arledge: Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Leadership

Xun Liu: Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology and Leadership

Laura Melton: Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology and Leadership

 

Dilber Celebi: Doctoral degree in Curriculum Studies
