Pueblo Bonito, "the beautiful village," remains as a strong testament to the abilities of the Anasazi as builders, just as Sundagger demonstrates their astronomical observation skills.

Pueblo Bonito was built over several decades nearly a thousand years ago. Then the Anasazi mysteriously abandoned Pueblo Bonito and the rest of their Chaco Canyon structures. What happened to the Anasazi? We don't know. Their departure remains a mystery.
