Faculty Procedures for Interactive Videoconferencing
Teaching via IVC is a wonderful way to break down walls and open a window to students at other locations. Presently the College of Education has 3 IVC rooms.
The following procedures and coordinations are required for faculty wanting to offer a course via IVC that has previously been taught face-to-face. TTU OP 36.01: Adding, Changing, and Deleting Courses and Changing Method of Delivery addresses some of these requirements.
- All courses must be submitted for approval before certain deadlines. Click here to view semester deadlines.
- If the course has NOT already been approved to be taught at a distance, please fill out an Application for Distance Learning Course Approval Form and submit to the Provost's Office.
- Once approval has been received, a Principles of Good Practice Compliance Form, which is submitted electronically and approved by your department, school, and Provost.
- Instructional Technology Support Services will contact you regarding your class, room assignment, and information on orientation.
