Video Streaming
The Texas Tech College of Education is utilizing a Lecture Capture System to permit student access to IVC courses and selected events from home over a high-speed / broadband Internet connection. The College of Education has two systems to capture classes; Codian and Mediasite, which allows students to view archived recorded class sessions and events from your own computer. Content is recorded live and streamed to a Web interface – viewed using QuickTime™, RealPlayer™ or Windows Media Player™.
If you are an instructor or a student, you will need to download the "Codian Instructor/Student Guide" and/or the "Mediasite Instructor/Student Guide" (coming soon!)
before trying to access class recordings. . This guide provides a tutorial and information regarding responsibilites, policies, and technology requirements needed to successfully view streamed recordings.
