Classrooms and offices in our College of Education building are now covered by one of several "wireless clouds" on the main TTU Lubbock campus. The funding for these wireless networks was provided by a recent TIF grant from the state of Texas. Network infrastructure was installed and is maintained by the TTU IT Division.

How Can I Get Connected?

1. Make sure you know your eRaider username and password. (Log in at www.eraider.ttu.edu or call 742-HELP)
2. Hardware Requirements: Obtain an 802.11b compatible wireless card for your laptop.
3. Software / Operating System Requirements: Use provided configuration instructions for supported operating systems:
   • Windows Users: Windows XP Service Pack 2 is required.
   • Macintosh Users: OS 10.3 (Panther) is required.
   • Dell Axim with Pocket PC 2003

Configuration instructions for other wireless devices (including handheld PDAs) and other operating systems may be provided at a later date by TTU IT HelpCentral.
