The Office of Grant Development seeks to enable the faculty and staff of the College of Education to increase the number and types of external grants funded and to be viewed as an exemplary service-oriented office by the faculty and staff of the College of Education.

 

 

Providing weekly grant opportunities

Making check list of RFP if desired

Brainstorming ideas about research

Helping with/doing budgets

Getting budgets approved by ORS

Notifying Austin, depending on type of grant

Completing necessary forms

Getting signatures

Doing internal copies

Taking completed grants to ORS

Sending copies to Austin if necessary

Serving as go-between with other departments, agencies, etc. as required

Helping write grants

Preparing a quarterly newsletter

Keeping the web page up to date

Keeping records of faculty seeking assistance

Keeping records of funds sought and funds generated

Facilitating grant writing seminars

Completing a yearly evaluation of services

Completing an annual report

Keeping the faculty apprised of the progress of the office

Plan activities/events, etc., to recognize faculty who seek external funding and those who receive it.

Manage college-wide grants as necessary
