What to Expect from the Feds about Funding Decisions!

Several months after you have submitted your grant application, you will hear one of the following from the federal government, regardless of the competition:

  • Accepted,
  • Accepted with budget modifications (i.e., let's talk about the budget),
  • Approved but not funded,
  • Supportable but not fundable, or
  • Rejected.

Picture Your Name!

The Office of Grant Development has presented a new plaque to the College of Education, recognizing faculty and staff who receive external funding in a given year.

This plaque, to be presented each year at the College Awards Dinner, was presented in 2002-2003, honoring those who received new funding after August 2002 when the Office of Grant Development began operation.

Beginning in 2003-2004, all faculty and staff who receive external funding, new or renewed, will have their names inscribed on the plaque, as many times as they receive funding..

The research plaque is located in the corridor next to the dean's suite.

Go by and picture your name on it!
