Master's Comprehensive Evaluation at the College of Education: Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas)

The Master's Comprehensive Evaluation is completed once per semester. Students complete the evaluation during the last semester of their program coursework. Students who are being evaluated a second time must be enrolled for at least one hour at Texas Tech University. You must be a registered student to complete the evaluation. Sign-up for the evaluation by applying online using the online application. Deadline to sign up for the evaluation is January 26, 2007. (Additional information for upcoming dates are listed below)

The following must be completed in order for you to be eligible to complete the comprehensive evaluation for the Master of Education degree:

The Graduate School must have officially admitted you to a Master of Education program.
You must have an approved program for the master's degree and admission to candidacy form on file with the Graduate School at least six months before you plan to graduate.
You must file your intent to graduate form with the Graduate School - Basement, Holden Hall or fill out the online form through the Graduate School and click on Graduating Students. (Deadline for students planning to graduate in May 2007 is January 26, 2007.)
Any incomplete(s) in courses for the master's degree must be changed to a grade.
Any course change(s) on your approved program of study must be made as soon as possible.
You can only complete the comprehensive evaluation in the semester you expect to graduate.
You must be enrolled in the semester you complete the comprehensive evaluation.
You must submit the application form to take the comprehensive evaluation and return it to the Office of Graduate Education and Research, College of Education. (Room 105).

You may apply for the comprehensive evaluation directly through the College of Education by filling out an online application form.

Click on "Apply online for the Comprehensive Evaluation" below to take you to the application form.
Fill in the details in the form.
Press "Submit " to submit the form or "Start Over " to clear the entries and refill the application form.
Once submitted, the form is sent to Ms.Patsy Mountz at the College of Education and a summary of the details, as entered in the application will be displayed on your screen.
