Cycle of Courses
- Undergraduate certification courses are offered each semester (Fall and Spring) to meet the needs of undergraduate certification students.
- Post Baccalaureate certification courses are offered each semester and both summer terms to meet the needs of a consistently increasing number of students.
- Advanced Courses : These are offered on a rotating two-year cycle.
Most of the courses Secondary Education Program Faculty teach each fall and spring semesters as well as during the two summer terms are courses required for undergraduate - EDSE 2300, EDSE 4310, EDSE 4311, EDSE 4320, EDSE 4322
and graduate - EDSE 5305, EDCI 5310, EDSE 5320, EDSE 5322 - certification programs, and therefore are not on a 2 year-cycle. Two courses required in the Master’s program - EDSE 5307, EDSE 5331 - are usually taught on a 2 year cycle. Additional EDSE courses taught on a 2 year cycle - EDSE 5300, EDSE 5330, EDSE 5377.
