He examines corrective feedback with quantitative, randomized experiments, as well as meta-analytical reviews of the body of research on the topic. Dr. Reece-Miller is also interested in Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), with a focus on virtual worlds such as Second Life, as well as project-based learning, especially with how projects can help meet state and national standards in the K-12 classroom. In addition to his research in language learning, Dr. Reece-Miller is very interested in social justice issues with under-represented groups in the K-12 setting, with a focus on immigrant adolescents and LGBTQ students and teachers.
