Supporting Distance Learning at Texas Tech: Our Story

Helping Education faculty teach both online and using interactive video, creating and maintaining a variety of web based resources including interactive databases, online discussion groups, and streaming video. This is our continuing story.
Just because we can deliver courses at a distance, should we? The answer depends on many factors! We will explore ways faculty in the College of Education at Texas Tech University are being supported in their efforts to both teach at a distance and integrate web based resources within traditional face-to-face courses. Using a Dreamweaver, UBBThreads discussion group software, Filemaker Pro and Lasso for database publication, Quicktime Streaming Server, and other solutions, we are providing robust instructional technology options for faculty and students.
