Master Degree Programs in Special Education

Teachers with certification and specialization in Special Education are in high demand. Our College offers Master of Education degrees at a distance with 5 different emphases:

  • Special Education, Emphasis in Visual Impairment
  • Special Education, Emphasis in Dual Sensory
  • Special Education, Emphasis in Orientation and Mobility
  • Special Education, Emphasis: Educational Diagnostician
  • Special Education, Emphasis: Generic Special Education

Note that a significant portion of the courses for these degree programs is available at a distance, but some face to face weekend or summer courses may be required, depending on the program.

More information about programs in Visual Impairment, Dual Sensory, and Orientation and Mobility is available on the website for the Virginia Sowell Center. Depending on a student's geographic location, FULL funding for program tuition, fees, books, and travel expenses (when required) may be available.
