The
College of Education at Texas Tech University offers a variety of
distance delivered courses and programs of study leading to both
graduate degrees and professional certifications. We offer courses
that are entirely web-based, courses that are delivered via iTV
(interactive televideo / video conferencing), and 'hybrid' courses
that include a mix of face to face class sessions and sessions at
a distance. Some of our web-based courses are entirely asynchronous
(log on any time), while others include some sychronous components
(for example, 'live' chat with the course professor and fellow students
at scheduled times.)

Hill Country Programs
Masters Of Education in Educational Leadership
Students attending class at a TTU Hill Country
Campus (in Fredricksburg, Marble Falls/Highland Lakes, and Junction)
can earn a Masters of Education degree in Educational
Leadership via iTV and web-based courses. For more information, visit the EDLD website.
Master Reading Teacher Certification
The Master Reading Teacher (MRT) Certification is part of the Texas Reading Initiative. More information is available, including a program brochure and application information.
