All student teachers should download, print and bring ALL Student Teacher Orientation forms from this website to Student Teacher Orientation on Friday, August 21, 2009 and Tuesday, August 25, 2009 with special attention to the “Permanent Information” and “Code of Conduct” forms. The “Permanent Information” and “Code of Conduct” forms should be completed PRIOR to Student Teacher Orientation and will be submitted to the student teacher supervisors. As a reminder, professional dress is required at Student Teacher Orientation.
Student teachers are required to go to TechID, located in the Student Union building, to receive a Texas Tech University College of Education “Teacher Education Candidate” name badge PRIOR to the first day on student teaching cooperating campuses, which is August 31, 2009 if they have not already received the first free one. Student teachers can choose to utilize their current photos on file or take new pictures. Student teachers are required to wear these name badges during their student teaching experiences on all school campuses. The College of Education will provide the first name badge and lanyard at no cost with student teachers paying for additional badges thereafter. TechID can be contacted at 742-1457.
