Student Teaching

Students seeking admission to student teaching MUST complete ALL coursework prior to student teaching. 

In order to receive a student teaching placement, you must attend a student teaching application meeting the semester before you student teach.   You can find information about student teaching  in EDUC Room 106a or online at www.educ.ttu.edu/clinicalexperiences.  During the student teaching application meeting, you will provide the student teaching coordinator with the personal and professional information he/she needs to make your student teaching placements (including any special requests).  All placement requests must be made by November 10th (for spring) or April 4th (for fall). 

Student teaching is a full-time experience.  We do not recommend that you work or take additional classes during the student teaching semester.
