Information for Multidisciplinary Studies and Multidisciplinary Science Majors
Freshmen students who wish to graduate in a timely manner (in four years) have the opportunity to plan their course of study with their academic advisor during their freshmen year. The Graduate on Time contract is very specific in listing the student’s responsibilities and the responsibilities of Texas Tech University. For detailed information visit the following websites:

What does it all mean?
Students Responsibilities:
Be advised early every semester before the registration date
Register on scheduled day
Pay your tuition bill before the university deadline
Take 30 hours a year in coursework related to the degree
Maintain acceptable GPA
TTU Responsibilities:
Advise students every semester on required courses and any changes to degree plan
Ensure availability of courses
Student Consequences For Breaking The GOT Contract:
NONE except that graduation may be delayed
Student Benefits if TTU Breaks the GOT Contract:
Adjust degree plan which may require a course to be waived or substituted
Pay for tuition and course fees if a course in unavailable when needed and you are required to stay longer than planned.
How do you sign up?
You must see your College of Education advisor to sign the official contract. The contract will then be sent to the ProVost for signature and then returned back to your advisor. You will receive the yellow carbonized copy for your records. Keep this in a safe place so that you may refer back to it when needed.
Contracts must be signed before the end of advance registration during the second long semester of classes at TTU.
