Kappa Delta Pi members make up the top ten percent of the educators entering the professional field of education. 

The requirements to  join the Sigma Nu Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi at Texas Tech University are:

1) Be a fulltime undergraduate or graduate student at Texas Tech University.

2)  Have a minimum of twelve education courses programmed, in progress or completed.

3)  As an undergraduate have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

4)  As a graduate have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

5) Finally, pay your annual Kappa Delta Pi membership fee.
