The Burkhart Teaching Academy was designed to provide educators with specific strategies and methods for teaching students with autism spectrum disorders as well as to provide an avenue of support among colleagues who work with these students.

Workshops will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Region 17 Education Service Center located at 1111 West Loop 289 in Lubbock. Lunch will be provided. Educators interested in registering should visit www.esc17.net.
