Educating First Responders

First Responders Program educates local law enforcement and paramedics about ways to recognize and interact with individuals with autism. Knowing how to interact with people with autism helps to minimize dangerous outcomes, citizen complaints, and lawsuits, while making the individuals with autism feel safe, secure, and not threatened.
