Distance Course Fee Waiver Info

FEE WAIVER UPDATE: Eligible students* taking distance courses do NOT have to complete fee waiver forms. As of the Spring 2004 semester, all fee waivers are being handled directly by Student Business Services -- we no longer are able (or required) to submit fee waiver request forms to the Provost's Office on behalf of our "distance" students -- everything is tied to the field and code numbers associated with course sections and is now intended to be "automatic" in terms of helping SBS more efficiently process reimbursements for those students who do not come to campus for any courses or classes during a particular term. Apparently the reimbursement processing is still being processed after the 12th class day deadline (4th class day during summer terms) each semester.

More information about current section code designations is available. iTV students, make sure you are regisered in the correct section for your iTV delivery location, because course fees are based in part on location. Contact the EP&L Department secretary for assistance if you need to change your section code.

* To be eligible for distance course fee waivers, 100% of a student's classes must be taken at a distance during the term (no face-to-face classes.)
